Make a QR code without signing up

Type a URL or a short note, then download a QR code PNG. Generation happens in the browser.

A QR code is just a picture of text. For a link, a Wi-Fi note, or a short message, you do not need an account, a tracking pixel, or a subscription.

Type the text, check the preview, and download the PNG. If you already have a QR code in a photo, the scanner on the same page can read it locally.

Very long text makes a dense code that phones struggle to scan. Keep URLs short, and leave a quiet margin around the image when you print it.

Steps

  1. Open the QR code tool.
  2. Paste the URL or text.
  3. Download the PNG and test it with your phone camera.

Questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. The picture contains the text itself. It keeps working as long as the URL it points to still works.
