Convert a PDF to Word without uploading
Turn PDF pages into an editable .docx on your computer. Layouts are rebuilt from the text, not sent to a server.
Open PDF to WordPDF to Word is useful when you need to edit a form or reuse paragraphs. It is not a pixel-perfect clone. Complex layouts, columns, and scanned pages often need a cleanup pass in Word.
UtilityAll rebuilds the document in the browser from the text it can read. A scanned PDF with no text layer will not magically become editable — that needs OCR, which this tool does not do.
If the file has tables you need in a spreadsheet, use PDF to Excel instead. For slides, use PDF to PowerPoint.
Steps
- Open PDF to Word and drop the PDF.
- Download the .docx file.
- Open it in Word or Google Docs and fix any layout that did not carry over.
Questions
Does this work on a scanned PDF?
Only if the PDF already has selectable text. A photo of a page will not become real Word text.
