PDF to Excel reads text on each page and places it into a spreadsheet. It works when the PDF already has selectable text, such as an exported report.
A photo of a table will not become cells. Merged cells and multi-line headers often need a manual fix in Excel.
Questions
Can it read a scanned table?
No. This tool does not run OCR. The PDF needs real text you can select.
Are formulas preserved?
No. You get the visible text in cells, not the original spreadsheet formulas.
